In the last week of June, Island Schools participated in the 2023 European Rural Geographies conference organised by the Faculty of Spatial Sciences of the University of Groningen .
The Island Schools policy recommendations were presented by Thijs Speelman and Christina Rundel with the main question, "How can policymakers ensure that islands remain liveable?"
